Optional Jira sync
Jira sync is optional. When connected, RepoFixer can pull tickets from your existing queue so backlog work starts where your team already tracks it, rather than requiring a separate intake step.
Verified integration · read-only
What syncs
Jira sync is read-only: summary, description, labels, priority, issue type, status, and last-updated are pulled in from the projects you select, filtered to tickets that are To Do or In Progress.
Current limitations
Jira Cloud is supported; Jira Server/Data Center is not. Sync is read-only: RepoFixer does not write comments, change status, or transition tickets back in Jira.
How it connects to GitHub
A synced ticket becomes the input to a run the same way a manually created ticket would. The resulting pull request still opens against the GitHub repository you've connected. Jira sync doesn't replace that connection.
Optional by design
RepoFixer's core GitHub + agent + PR workflow works without Jira connected. Sync is additive for teams that already track backlog work there.
Setup
- 1
Connect your Jira account from RepoFixer.
- 2
Select the project(s) to sync tickets from.
- 3
Point a synced ticket at a connected repository to start a run.
